In the Pomona Frame House, I was amazed by this simple work with a tree, flower and their roots. The flower or rose is demonstrated with deeper roots than the tree in a world of complimentary colors that seem to connect flesh to nature. Besides the composition’s message, I was more intrigued by it’s method; the work was painted and texture with wax, which made it more appealing and gave more play to a third dimension.
